If you google for 'cistercians' there is always a result of search full of tourist and architectural information. Like there was no people. Firstly it was annoying for me. I was looking for monks to find out how they live and all I was given were empty monasteries, churches, corridors, dates, numbers and places. There was no life, no people. Having watched a few photos finally it became obvious for me that this is not enough for me. I have visited several monasteries in Poland living with monks and trying to document their life. After this couple months of work I know that it's a work in progress.
